Another Palais Garnier detour… looong line… an online ticket is really useful here… as our schedule was too complicated for this we are on our way to Musée d’Orsay… via Place Vendôme and Jardin des Tuileries… another line to enter Musée d’Orsay… crowds dispersing in the museum galleries… starting with a new 3D journey in time… getting lost on the first level… finding the model for the Paris Opera… happy ending for a missed visit!
Continuing a fun kid-friendly itinerary from the museum… looking for Pompon’s Polar Bear… finding the land of monsters… looking for paintings from places around the world… especially our next impressionist destinations… finding the new Berthe Morisot exhibition… such a beautiful, fresh and playful exhibition… like a fresh breeze… ending the impressionist itinerary with the superstars… probably not the best idea to see them in the afternoon… time for late lunch / early dinner at Miznon in Marais… stuffed cabbage in pita… ratatouille… cauliflower… yum!
For desert we pay our homage Aux Merveilleux de Fred… merveilleux and magnifique 🙂
The last surprise of the day was to be found on the way to Pavillon d’Arsenal… on the other side of Jardin de lHotel de Sens… Bibliothèque Forney… JACQUELINE DUHÊME, UNE VIE EN COULEURS: DE MATISSE À PRÉVERT… and this was the perfect end of a wonderful week in Paris… and lots of books to look for 🙂
From a rail station to a Museum : a 3D journey designed for the Musée d’Orsay (Paris).
