A trip starting at SFO has the nice touch of an art exhibition, so we were delighted to see two, The Enduring Designs of Josef Frank and The Spirited Folk Arts of Mexico.
Our first destination is Paris, and we were hoping to have half a day to start with, but landed late afternoon. Only that in the city of lights the sun sets late in summer and we were surprised to find Notre Dame closed at 9PM when we thought it was afternoon.
So it was Berthillon, but found its ice cream everywhere… hmmm, I think I still prefer the Italian gelato. After a late but delicious dinner at Les Gourmands de l’Île we were off to sweet dreams for the next day!
